Dodge has unveiled the Charger EV concept, which is faster and louder than a Hellcat.

Dodge revealed on Wednesday that it has an EV concept that looks and even sounds like the gas-powered Charger muscle car that will be discontinued next year.

It’s unclear just how much of the concept shown Wednesday will actually make it to the final production version,

The automaker didn’t share details on pricing, but it did share lots of specs and design details, which clearly uses some of the original Dodge Charger DNA.

Dodge is focusing on three main areas that it says will “rewrite the rules” of the battery electric segment

An R-shaped front wing acts as an aerodynamic pass-through. It is coupled with a multi-speed transmission with electro-mechanical shifting. The exhaust can reach 126 decibels.
